CJD: AI Chat for the Whole Website and Jobs
CJD uses an AI chat across its entire website that guides visitors to the right offerings and finds matching open positions directly in the chat.
AI assistant right on the website
The AI assistant accompanies visitors as a chat bubble across the entire CJD website and is reachable from every page.
Six topic areas at a glance
Clear entry points such as Join the Team, Offerings, Topics, Donate or Newsletter guide visitors straight to the right area.
Job search right in the chat
On request, the assistant names matching open positions with a direct link and, if needed, points to the full job board with a location filter.
Business Goals
CJD is one of Germany’s largest education and social-service organizations, and for over 75 years it has supported people on their path to a self-determined life, spanning education, integration and individual support. The website reflects that breadth: educational programs, social services, open positions, donation options and information for very different audiences all sit side by side.
The goal of the project was an AI chat for the entire CJD website that quickly guides visitors to the right place, whatever their concern. A key requirement was integrating job search directly into the chat, so interested candidates can find open positions without clicking through the job board themselves.
Results
The AI assistant appears as a chat bubble across the whole website and introduces itself transparently at the start: it explains that it answers with AI support, that some answers are AI-generated, and asks visitors not to share personal data in the chat, pointing to further information on how it works and on data protection.

Through six clearly labeled entry points, including “Join the Team”, “CJD’s Offerings”, “Topics at CJD” and “Donate”, every audience immediately finds a fitting starting point without having to search the website’s menu structure.
The concrete value shows up in job search: asked about open positions for social workers, the assistant names current matching listings with a direct link and points to the job board, where the desired location can also be entered. Interested candidates reach the right position directly in the chat instead of clicking through the job board themselves.
For CJD, this creates a central digital guide that combines website navigation, information about its own offerings and job search in a single chat.
