Safe AI Chatbot for Children About Religions

LoyJoy developed the AI agent Auxie for religionen-entdecken.de, a safe and understandable AI agent for primary school children.

Initial Situation

Primary school children searching the internet for answers about religions quickly run into content that is neither age-appropriate nor reliable. The goal was therefore to provide age-appropriate answers to questions about religions, based solely on editorially reviewed texts.

Solution Concept

This makes the website, part of the joint work of the Evangelical Publishing, the first non-commercial AI offering for children in the German-speaking world, one that answers questions about religions in a child-friendly and safe way.

Results

• 30,000 conversations within the first few days after launch, a clear sign of the demand for child-friendly answers about religions
• Around 2,000 children chat with the friendly AI agent Auxie every day
• High acceptance and effectiveness in conveying knowledge about religions to children in a safe, understandable way
