Emmie wins the German Brand Award 2026
Honored: German Brand Award 2026, Best of Best
At the German Brand Award 2026, R+V and LoyJoy were honored together. In the discipline Excellence in Brand Strategy and Creation, the jury named the AI assistant Emmie “Best AI Project of the Year” and additionally distinguished the project with the “Best of Best” award.
The jury recognized a project that brings together a long-established insurance brand and a modern Conversational AI platform, with a consistent focus on customer value.
What Emmie delivers for customers
Emmie is the digital AI assistant of R+V Insurance. She answers questions around the clock in natural language, explains complex insurance topics in plain terms, and guides customers to suitable solutions.
Instead of long waiting times or jargon, users experience a dialogue that understands their concerns and helps them right away. Employees at R+V gain valuable space for personal advice on more complex matters.

The numbers behind the award
- More than 35,000 dialogues per month run through Emmie at R+V, and the trend is rising.
- Around 50 percent of these dialogues happen outside the classic service hours.
- Processes such as ordering the digital insurance card and calculating the pension gap are already live in the chat.
- The rollout to further lines of business is in full implementation.
Voice from LoyJoy
A great achievement by R+V, to which we extend our warmest congratulations. We are delighted to bring the Emmie vision to life together with R+V on the LoyJoy platform. And we are only at the beginning, Emmie will deliver significantly more for R+V customers in the future. The project is now really gathering pace.

Why this project wins an award
Three aspects make Emmie stand out for the jury:
- Clear customer value. Answers are immediately available, in the language of the customer and tailored to the specific request.
- Consistent brand voice. Emmie acts strictly according to R+V’s brand guidelines. Tone, content and recommendations match one of Germany’s largest insurers.
- Agentic AI foundation. Behind Emmie is the LoyJoy platform: Agentic AI, end-to-end processes, integration with knowledge sources and core systems, no-code configuration for business teams.
What insurers can take away
Emmie illustrates that modern AI in the insurance environment can deliver much more than a pure FAQ function. The prerequisites are a platform that meets regulatory requirements, a clear use case with measurable benefits, and close collaboration between business, brand and technology.
This interplay was decisive at the German Brand Award 2026.
