For the last two years, due to COVID–19, the DMEXCO took place virtually. No matter where you were, it was possible to meet us there. You could watch the event comfortably from home. Though visitors missed the beautiful city of Cologne and the incredible vibes of the live event. And this year, in 2022, we are so excited to finally be back on-site again. Back to the roots.
What Is the DMEXCO?
The DMEXCO, short for DMEXCO = Digital Marketing Exposition & Conference, is Europe's leading digital marketing & tech event. It is the meeting place for all key decision makers from digital business, marketing, and innovation. The DMEXCO offers a whole ecosystem of lectures by international speakers and exhibitions by top brands- all with a view to digital trends and future business potentials.

How LoyJoy Enriched the DMEXCO 2021
Looking back at 2021, before the event itself our CEO Ulf Loetschert had an interview with the DMEXCO. The interview was about LoyJoy on “joyvertising”, conversational software, and its presence at DMEXCO @home. Our CEO Ulf F. Loetschert was pleased to talk about our business idea and about our mission: There is more to chatbots than answering support questions, much more. To give the visitors a glimpse of what working with LoyJoy can look like, our CEO presented the real-world example of DFB, the German Football Association. In short: There was a story on Instagram where you could win tickets, then you would swipe up and the LoyJoy chat would start immediately to talk to your consumers. Voilà! That is how you generate more leads super easily. On top of that, our CEO built a chat together with the audience in 3 minutes- live at the DMEXCO.

NIVEA Men and Real Madrid Success Story Made Possible by LoyJoy
Looking forward to 2022, our highlight will probably be the keynote about the cooperation between NIVEA Men x Real Madrid and LoyJoy. The masterclass will be held by Ben Polter, Global CRM Manager of Beiersdorf AG. Visitors can learn about: "How NIVEA MEN and Real Madrid Score Consumer Conversion and Engagement with Conversational Marketing".
Together, NIVEA MEN x Real Madrid and LoyJoy wrote a success story. Beiersdorf Spain cooperates with Real Madrid to promote their NIVEA MEN Fan Club and convert football fans into NIVEA members on their owned marketing channels. Not only to deepen their long-standing partnership, but also to introduce Real Madrid fans to the NIVEA MEN product line in an interactive way. The stand-alone App was 100% based on the LoyJoy platform. It included product tips for NIVEA MEN and the chance to win VIP tickets and merchandise.

There is a new commitment on each match day. New ideas were ventured in setting up the fan club. From registration to participation in activities such as competitions and information on NIVEA MEN products - everything takes place in an interactive 1:1 chat conversation. This chat conversation is made possible by LoyJoy.
In the medium or long term, the engagement should lead to getting to know the fan or consumer better in order to offer the relevant and right products individually. The chat interface has excited fans and ensured rapid growth of the community. And the engagement is massive, so the CTR of the mailings was doubled.
