Württembergische Gemeinde-Versicherung (WGV) has been offering needs-based insurance coverage since 1921 and lets novice drivers calculate and complete their YoungDriver policy directly in a chat, playfully instead of through a classic application form.
Initial Situation
The goal was to enable novice drivers without their own car to calculate and directly sign up for the matching YoungDriver insurance not through a classic application form, but in a playful chat dialogue.
Results
Just under 25 % of chat conversations led to a successful contract conclusion, a strong rate for a dialogue-based application path and proof that a playful dialogue can convince customers even when it comes to signing an insurance policy.
