How To Build LoyJoy Chats That Perform 🚀
How To Build LoyJoy Chats That Perform 🚀
In our digital world where every brand is vying for attention, building an effective chat experience can make all the difference. Chat is more than a tool - it’s a platform for connection, a medium for expression, and a catalyst for action. But how do you transform your chat from an average interaction into a conversation that engages and delights users?
Today, I’m going to walk you through the process of building a successful chat experience, step-by-step. This guide will provide you with practical insights, valuable tips, and some do’s and don’ts to help you build a chat with the LoyJoy platform that performs.
1️⃣ Begin With a One Sentence Value Proposition
The intro of the conversation is critical. People instantly decide whether to interact or leave. Here’s an example of a bad intro and a good intro:
First impressions count. If your customers are not convinced, they will move on to other content. Make clear why the chat adds value to the customer, add Emojis to give it a more human and joyful touch. 🙋♀️
2️⃣ Offer 2 to 3 Buttons to Hit the Sweet Spot
Offering one button is NOT a conversation, more than three buttons complicate a decision. Don’t overwhelm your customers with too many options - keep it short and simple! 💯Two choices are the sweet spot.
3️⃣ Add Emojis, Animations and Questions to Convey Emotions 🦸♂️
As I said before, Emojis add joy to a chat and convey emotion. One emoji says more than a hundred words. Don’t underestimate it, it’s what separates an average experience from an exceptional one!
4️⃣ Use “I” Instead of “We” to Build a Personal Connection
To build a personal connection with your customers, use the “I” perspective to move from anonymous to relatable.
5️⃣ Keep Offering the Other Options Later
Again, don’t overwhelm your customers with too many choices. Offer 2-3 buttons at first. After they choose one, offer the other options later.
6️⃣ Keep Buttons Short With Clear CTA
Short buttons keep the whole chat clear and concise. Don’t make the mistake of putting every single detail in a button. If it is too big, there is a high chance that your customers will find it boring and hard to read. Again, here is an example of a bad experience and a good experience:
7️⃣ Use Chat Preview on Website and “Open Automatically” in Social Media
People need to discover your chat in the first place. Activate “chat preview”, so the chat actively presents itself Your chat preview can be activated in the Branding tab of your experience. It should contain your one sentence value proposition plus 1 to 3 buttons. Switch on “open automatically” in Branding when publishing to Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. If you use the chat on your websites and Social Media, you can add the URL parameter “loyjoy-open=true” to the URL you publish to Social Media. This parameter tells LoyJoy to open automatically.
With these hacks you will be able to create LoyJoy chats that perform. 🚀
