How Does It Work?
The heart of Agentic AI lies in Instructions (“Prompts”) and Tools. You provide your agent with clear instructions on how to respond in specific situations and equip it with the necessary tools. These tools can include APIs and other interfaces that allow the agent to retrieve information or perform actions.
With our new AI Agent module, we are equipping your chatbots with the ability to solve complex tasks independently. The AI Agent module makes the old GPT modules obsolete.
To start, we have integrated a number of powerful tools:
- Process Control: The agent can specifically target other specialized agents or predefined LoyJoy processes.
- Knowledge Search: It searches your LoyJoy knowledge database to provide precise answers.
- Product Search: Your AI agent can advise customers on products and make recommendations, thanks to direct integration with the LoyJoy product database.
- Product Display: The agent can display found products directly as attractive product tiles in the chat.
- Web Search: Your agent can browse the internet to find up-to-date information.
- Connect External Tools via Model Context Protocol (MCP)
We will continuously expand the list of available tools.
The Product Finder Agentic AI in Action
This is how you can easily create a Product Finder Agent that independently answers customer inquiries about products and suggests suitable items from your product database. The online wine retailer Wine in Black uses this to recommend the best possible wine to its customers while also relieving the sales team. The agent searches the product database, asks targeted follow-up questions, and ultimately presents the customer with a selection of suitable wines. Customers can then add these directly to their shopping cart or request more information.
