LoyJoy Retires the Password
At LoyJoy we always look for ways to improve the security of accounts and data. We adopted new technology to get rid of passwords.
For the best possible protection of your customer data we are adapting our login system. Passwords are not only often forgotten, but the same passwords are used for many accounts and are therefore insecure.
In the future there will be two ways to log in to LoyJoy.
-
via a magic link, which is sent to the user’s email address for login and is valid for 10 minutes or
-
by hardware key in accordance with the FIDO2 standard This is currently the most secure login option available and is strongly recommended. Keys are available in retail for about 20 Euro and can also be used to secure e.g. Google and Facebook accounts (extended security).
By the way, the key function can also be placed on the fingerprint scanner of your laptop and is then even more convenient.
